Laura's Graduation Party

Decorating her cake

Picture

We borrowed a bunch of tables and chairs. Laura made those rainbow garlands out of felt circles and attached them to my bathroom window. There were markers on the tables so that guests could color on the paper covers. She decorated the jars and set them on one of her yearbooks. The garage door held all of her school pictures as well as some snapshots from childhood.

Each of the back doors had more baby/childhood pictures and the table has some awards, her diploma and the OSU acceptance letter.

We bought a cake pop maker and Laura spent a day making 100 of them. The next day was spent making the cake and cupcakes.

Even the fruit skewers were rainbow. Strawberry, cantaloupe, pineapple, kiwi, blueberry, grape.

30 pounds of ground beef and 25 pounds of chicken was too much food. We had a taco bar with beans and rice, chips and dip, etc. There was enough left to freeze portions for future busy days as well as feeding the Pete Kevers and the Andrew Kevers on Father's Day afternoon.
